Zur Zeit scheinen der Installation von Windows Vista, Linux oder Win XP auf intel basierenden Macs noch größere Probleme im Weg zu sehen [via golem]
Lange dauert es sicher nicht, jedoch richtig cool finde ich die Idee eines Einzelnen einen eigenen Contest ins Leben zu rufen und 100$ dafür auszusetzen, wer als erstes Win XP auf seinem Intel-Mac installiert…zuzüglich gesammelter Spendengelder. Stand jetzt: $ 2773

My MacBook is shipping on the 15th of February. I told my boss that this would replace my IBM desktop and I could boot Windows XP on it. I am still confident it can be done. I am pledging $100 of my own money and offering anyone else who would like the instructions on how to Dual boot these two operating systems the ability to donate some of their money into the pot as a reward for the person / group that can make dual-booting Mac OS X and Windows XP happen on an Intel Mac. Ich wünsche ihm viel Erfolg und das er keinen Ärger mit seinem Boss bekommt. Ich werde wohl mal die Summe im Auge behalten und freue mich auf einen neuen Grund auf das MacBook umzusteigen
